On 24th September, Helen and Graham travelled north to play in the Leicester one-day tournament.

Helen used to be a member of Leicester Scrabble Club and several of her previous clubmates were playing at the tournament.

It was one of the largest one-day tournaments since lockdown with 72 players spread across four divisions. Players came from Liverpool, Sheffield, Norwich and London.

Both Helen and Graham played in Division B. (This Division also featured more of Helen's former clubmates, so more opportunities for a catch-up chat.)

Both Graham and Helen did well in B, with Helen coming 6th winning 5 games and losing 2. One of those losses was to Graham who won all 7 games in the Division, and won a great cash prize.

Definitely worth the 2 hour drive to play !!!
