Here is part 2 of the membership names quiz.

As before, some questions are easy, some are hard, and some you will have targets to achieve or some helpful hints.

There are 15 4 letter words you can make from the letters in  GILLIAN? Try to find at least 7.

 

 

2. Sharon

What 7 letters words can you make with SHARON and a blank ? there are 10 words to find, 3-4 are ‘easy’ the rest quite difficult. The letters you require are C(3), D(1), E(2), P(1), S(1), T(1), X (1).

What 4 letter words can you make with PAT and a blank? There are 30 to find, well done if you find over 16.

 

4. Amanda 

 What 4 or 5 letter words can you make from AMANDA ? There 7 to find, most are quite tricky - try to find 2.

What are the 3 anagrams of CHARLES ? One is difficult, another very guessable.

 

6. Deborah 

What are the 4 anagrams of DEBORAH and a blank ? You will need a C, M, and 2 Rs. One of the 4 is difficult, another is an American spelling.

May 2023 has 3 Bank holidays.

Over each of the Bank Holiday weekends, we will set a quiz based on our current membership’s first names.

Some of the quizzes will be easy, some less so. Those that are harder may have easier targets to achieve or some helpful aids.

Sometimes you will have to find short words, sometimes 8 letter words – a set of quizzes for everyone…. About everyone!

 

Here are the first set of names..

       What 8 letter words can you make from MAUREEN and a blank ?

       There are only 3, you will need a T for an everyday English word, an S for a less well-known English word (hint… think computer logon), and a V for a horrible American word.

 What 3 and 4 letter words can you make from WANDA ? There are 13 in total, over 10 is very good.

        There are only 3 4 letter words you can make with JOY and a blank. How many do you know?
