Hi,
Over the Easter weekend there will be 4 quizzes that will test your 4 letter words with 3 vowels. All 4 quizzes have been concatenated on the website.
Each day, you will be given a number of consonants, and all the appropriate vowels needed to make a 4 letter word with that consonant - all you have to do is to make all the 4 letter words.
The list of vowels may seem daunting in some cases, but once you take away the vowels that make 'everyday' words, you should be able to make a good attempt at the more obscure ones.
B (3 words) : AA EE I OOO U
(ie make 3 4letter words, each containing a B and 3 of the supplied vowels. All 9 of the supplied vowels used once)
C (2 words) : AAA II O
D (6 words) : AAAAA EEEEEEE IIIII O (That's 5 A, 7 E, 5 I, 1 O)
F - none
G (6 words) : AAAAA EEEEEEE II OO UU (5 A, 7 E, 2 I, 2 O, 2 U)
H (3 words) : AA IIII OO U
J (2 words) : AA EE I O
K (3 words) : AAA EEE II U
L (13 words, yes, THIRTEEN) : AAAAAAAAAAAA EEEEEEEEEE IIIII OOOOOOOO UUUU (12 A, 10 E, 5 I, 8 O, 4 U)
M (8 words) : AAAAA EEEEE IIII OOOOOO UUUU (5 A, 5 E, 4 I, 6 O, 4 U)
N (12 words) : AAAAAAAAAAA EEEEEEEE IIIIIIII OOOOO UUUU (11 A, 8 E, 8 I, 5 O, 4 U)
P (3 words) : AAA EEE O UU
Q (2 words) : AAA I UU
R (10 words) AAAAAAAAAAA EEEEEE III OOOO UUUUUU (11 A, 6 E, 3 I, 4 O, 6 U)
S (6 words) AAAAAAAA EEEEE I OO UU
T (7 words) AAAAAAA EE III OOOO UUUUU
V (5 words) AAAA EEEEEEE I O UU
W (3 words) A EEEEEE I O
X (2 words) AA E II U
Y none
Z (3 words) A EE OOOOO U

There are 27 3 letter words which end with 2 consonants, and both the consonants are the same. How many of the 27 do you know ?
To confirm, words like ADD should be on your list, words like ACT should not.
Extra hint, most of the 27 words start with a vowel, but not all.
