The club AGM will take place on Thursday 1st December at 7:30pm.

Do come along and have your say.  The meeting is normally finished by 8pm, or just afterwards, so there will be time for at least two games of Scrabble afterwards!

Over the weekend of 8/9th October the finals of National Scrabble Championships were held in Milton Keynes. Two East Berks members qualified for the Finals, Wanda and Graham.

Wanda won 7 games out of 17, Graham 8 from 17. Both players finished higher than their relative starting position (based on National rating)- well done to them!

Full details of every game that was played at the event can be seen here : http://www.centrestar.co.uk/tsh/16nsc/html/

What a great afternoon we had at the Yateley Fun Palace!

There was lots happening, with choirs, bath bomb making, water painting, colouring, slinkachu photography all going on while we were playing 5 moves against anyone interested!

We were amazed with the quality of many of the moves by our visitors, many of whom scored over 100 points in 5 moves against us!

Here are a couple of photos we took which gives a flavour of the afternoon.

If any of our visitors today are reading this, don’t forget we meet 730 every Thursday at St Sebastians Cricket Pavilion, Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne. We’d love to see you there !
